The Rain Forest Farmers

The lives of the farmers of La Union have not changed much over the years. They have grown coffee the same way for generations - naturally, under a canopy of the rain forest in rich volcanic soil. They do not use toxic agro-chemicals. The coffee grows alongside the fruits and vegetables the farmers grow for their families and to sell in the local markets.
